The role
We are seeking a highly skilled and talented science subject specialist, ideally specialising in chemistry, however applications from candidates with a physics specialism will be considered. You will be committed to continuous improvement, striving to be the best teacher you can be. As such, you will deliver exceptional lessons and secure outstanding learning, progress and attainment for every pupil. This role is 1 FTE (applications for job share will be considered) and fixed term until 31 August 2026.
The candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in science. They will be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and have a deep understanding of how to engage young people in science. They will also be committed to the personal development of pupils, inspiring and motivating them to achieve highly.
